R470A (also known as RS-53 is a non-flammable refrigerant with a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) designed as a "drop-in" replacement for R410A in residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
It has similar cooling capacity, energy efficiency, and discharge pressures to R410A, and is compatible with existing R410A components, lubricants (POE), and expansion devices, minimizing the need for expensive equipment replacement.
