R448A is a hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) refrigerant blend used as a low-CWP (Global Warming Potential) for refrigerants like R404a and R507a in low & medium temperature commercial refrigeration applications.

It is a zeotropic blend of five gases (HFC-32, HFC-125, HFC-134a, HFO-1234yf and HFO-1234ze) that is non-flammable and has a low toxicity rating (A1).
