This listing is for a 5 Lb. tank of Refrigerant R-422b which contains 8 oz. of Lubricant, a blend of selected oils that have been formulated to provide the extra oil needed when an air conditioning or refrigeration system loses the oil charge due to leaks or malfunctions in the system.

Can be used with all lubricants like mineral, ester or Polyalkylene Glycol.

If you inadvertently mix R422B with R22 there will be no harm to the system components or system efficiency.

• Refrigerant R422b is the NUMBER 1 "DROP-IN" replacement for R22.

There is absolutely no reason to pay so much for R22 when you can use R422b and obtain even better performance due to the better lubrication return properties that R422b has.

It operates at exactly the same pressures as R22 and even has a lower head pressure so the compressor runs cooler.

Again, there is absolutely no reason to pay so much for R22 when R442b is the NUMBER ONE EPA approved replacement "DROP-IN" for R22.

If your air conditioning unit of refrigeration system uses R22 you can legally use R422b as a "DROP-IN" replacement.

The hydrocarbon component in R422B helps promote oil return in systems containing mineral oil or alkylbenzene. 

Although HFC refrigerants won’t mix with these oils, the hydrocarbon component thins the mineral oil and keeps it moving around the loop.
