*The top hose connection is 1/4" male flare with internal valve core for the self-sealing feature once the hose is removed.
The best replacement for R-22 Refrigerant is R-407c. It has a very low loss in capacity (0 – 5%) relative to R-22 and is less expensive than many other R-22 replacement refrigerants.Applications:
Residential Air-Conditioning SystemsIndustrial Refrigeration Coolers Freezers
Industrial & Commercial Air Conditioning systems including Chillers.Refrigerant R-407c is used as a replacement for R22 systems.
The hose connection is standard, 1/4" male flare.
R407C is an HFC blend designed to have similar properties to R22 in air conditioning systems.
R407C is suitable for residential & light air conditioning and direct expansion air conditioning systems.
It is also used in medium temperature refrigeration systems.
- Stop-Leak (sealant) & Moisture Remover (moisture eliminator) with U.V. Leak Detector (dye) is perfect for finding and sealing those pesky leaks, and with the added Moisture Remover, it will turn that moisture into oil!
- Moisture Remover features a dehydrating agent that converts system moisture into a synthetic oil to stop and prevent acid formation in your system while also increasing cooling performance.
- Forms a hard seal on metal, Schrader valves, O-rings, gaskets, a/c condensers, evaporators, line sets and solder joints
- Even though Stop-Leak with Leak Detector can form a seal on the Schrader valve, when you hook up to it the seal will release and allow you to use the Schrader if necessary.
- If there is still Stop-Leak with Leak Detector in the system, it will reseal the Schrader.
- While the dye is highly visible, and in most cases, able to be seen with the naked eye, the use of a blacklight as well as UV glasses does make it much more visible.
