Refrigerant R449a, XP40

R449A (also known as Opteon™ XP40) is a non-flammable (ASHRAE A1) HFO/HFC blend designed as a lower global warming potential (GWP) replacement for R404A and R22 in commercial/industrial refrigeration. It offers 64% lower GWP (1,397) and improved energy efficiency (up to 10% better) compared to R404A.
