• Refrigerant R422b is the NUMBER 1 "DROP-IN" replacement for R22.

It works even better than R22 and is much more reasonable in cost.

There is absolutely no reason to pay so much for R22 when you can use R422b and obtain even better performance due to the better lubrication return properties that R422b has.

It operates at exactly the same pressures as R22 and even has a lower head pressure so the compressor runs cooler.

Again, there is absolutely no reason to pay so much for R22 when R442b is the NUMBER ONE EPA approved replacement "DROP-IN" for R22.

If your air conditioning unit of refrigeration system uses R22 you can legally use R422b as a "DROP-IN" replacement.

Be smart, educate yourself in this field and you will see that almost all techs are using R422b as a replacement for R22 and they are applying the EPA approved sticker on the air conditioning unit or refrigeration system.

The hydrocarbon component in R422B helps promote oil return in systems containing mineral oil or alkylbenzene. 

Although HFC refrigerants won’t mix with these oils, the hydrocarbon component thins the mineral oil and keeps it moving around the loop.
