R417A (also known as Freon™ MO59 or ISCEON® MO59) is a non-ozone-depleting, HFC blend (R-125/134a/600) designed as a "drop-in" retrofit for R22 in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It works with existing mineral oil, offers similar cooling capacity, and provides lower discharge temperatures/pressures.
