Refrigerant R414b, Hot Shot

R414b (often branded as Hot Shot) is a zeotropic blend of R-22, R-124, R-142b, and R-600a designed as a non-ozone-depleting retrofit for R-12 in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It is popular because it requires no oil change, is compatible with mineral, alkylbenzene, and POE oils, and
operates at lower head pressures than R-12.
