Refrigerant R409a

R409A is a non-flammable HCFC
(chlorodifluoromethane/chlorotetrafluoroethane/chlorodifluoroethane) zeotropic blend refrigerant used to retrofit R-12 and R-500 in medium and low-temperature stationary refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It acts as a "drop-in" replacement with similar performance to R-12, often not requiring oil changes.
