R-420A (often branded as Choice R-420A or FreeZone) is a non-flammable, non-toxic, retrofit refrigerant blend designed specifically as a direct replacement for R-12 in automotive and refrigeration applications. It is a blend of 134a, 142b, and a proprietary lubricant, offering a nearly identical pressure-temperature relationship to R-12 without requiring system modifications.
